Job Description
2021-2022 Anticipated Reading and Language Art Teacher
Performance Qualifications:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education required
K-6 elementary classroom and/or 5-12 Reading/ELA Certification
Experience in classroom teaching in middle grades preferred
Description/Requirements
- Meet the eight Iowa teaching standards and criteria.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Develops and implements programming according to student needs.
- Integrate technology to enhance student engagement and achievement.
- Effectively design data-driven instruction and interventions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide seamless, student-centered instruction. Builds positive relationships with parents and the community.
- Exhibit willingness to be reflective and grow professionally.
- Engage students and families in the program.
- Utilize Leader in Me and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) strategies.
- Willingness to pursue professional development opportunities.
